We pray that all our brothers and sisters are in the best of health and imaan, ameen.
Alhamdulillah, the new term has arrived and ISoc activities will resume insha Allah. To get things rolling, our first open event is as follows;
Charity Iftar - Tuesday 2nd October 2007
A Mercy From Your Lord
Talk 1: "A Night of A Thousand Months" - Abu Usamah at-Thahabi
Talk 2: "Our Friend is Leaving Us..." - Murtaza Khan
'Followed by Iftar'
Doors open: 4:15pm
Cost: £4

Brothers and Sister for the sake of Allah, please DO NOT interfere with QM Isoc threads. You have control over what you put on under your user name so keep to that!
Just to clarify to all: any thread that details an event for QM ISOC that is not posted via this user will not be 100% accurate.

Abu Usamah is having to leave the country for an emergency and therefore he will not be able to attend the charity event. We pray that Allah azzawajal makes his affairs easy, ameen. We also ask everyone to make du'a for him.
Alhamdulillah Abu Mujahid has agreed to take on the second talk - A Night of A Thousand Months, at such a short notice, may Allah subhana wata'ala reward him and his family abundantly, ameen.

Salaam, get the northern (black) line towards King Cross St Pancreas and get off at King Cross St pancreas and get the Hammersmith and City line (pink) towards Mile End, u get?? :up:
When u cum out of the station, take a left and u can get the 25 bus i fink... 2nd stop or jst walk straight and then follow a bruva hehe
or u can get off at stepney green

Please note there are only 150 seats for brothers and 150 seats for sisters. To guarantee yourself a place, make sure you reserve. This will also help us to estimate the number meals we need to get.
If You Havnt Reserved A Brother Ticket.Come On The Day Theres Still Some Brother Tickets Available..u can still reserve them!!!

Alhamdulillah nice event. The 1st speaker was good Mashallah, spoke a lot of sense. The point about Yusuf Islam I didn't particularly agree with.
