As-salaamu 'Alaykum.
Try getting a Gmail. I loves my GMail. The emails are ALWAYS received the instant that they are sent.
:D
btw- Yahoo sucks.

If you have another email account, have you tried sending mail from your yahoo account to another one of your email accounts?
Perhaps the mail is being classified as spam on the receiver's end?

Sorry...can't agree at all!
I've been using yahoo email for about 9 years now. I've sent/recieved tons of emails (including attachments) using it and it NEVER let me down.
Also tried GMAIL when it came out first but gave up as it was too slow (not sure about now as I don't use it anymore)

Well, you should get an account on another provider and then send to that. Sign up for gmail or hotmail or something and send something to that account.
