weird pop up things, and security issues in some threads here ?

as salamu alaikum wa rahmatullah ok so im just using my computer as usuall here this morning, then suddenly after clicking on a thread i cant connect to this site and hotmail only for just under an hour.. now i did system restore and still this site and hotmail wouldnt work but paltalk and all other sites did still work, so i and went and asked some techhies and they said i had been hijacked, and gave me two links and advice etc. and now its back working and i can acess ummah forum.

but i just went to the thread about women with long fingernails... and my pop up blocker thing kicked in saying it has blocked the thread because of security issues and and invalid security certificate ( but only in that thread.. ) so any ideas :0: whats going on ...

yea thanks i have both, and ran it and no virus alhamdulillah, but im wondering why when i click on that particular thread it displays a pop up warning about security certificate ? it doesnt happen on any other thread here Allahu alam

Ive actually been on that thread a hundred times and there is no security popup or anything

what software are you using to run the virus and spyware scan?

Did it just happen on that thread? In which case it could be that one of the avatars has got malicious code in it. Have a word with admin or the moderators.
