Assalam alaykum wa Rahmatullah

As you may know, there are many families here in the UK who will be spending Eid without their husbands, fathers, brothers, and uncles. Their loved ones will be spending Eid behind bars, in places such as Belmarsh and Long Lartin.

Hhugs is looking for a couple of drivers who are willing to sacrifice some time in aid of such families. We would like to arrange for a mini bus from London to Long Lartin and similarly one from Birmingham to Belmarsh. This will be the weekend of the 13/14th October, whichever day is more suitable for the driver.

Please let us know in good time if you are able to help with any of these visits. Call us on 07931 833980 or email us back at: hhugs_2004@yahoo.co.uk

Jazakumullah Khair.

It's Ramadan, how many families have been split in two if not more due to this so called 'war on terror'. Insha'allah, make a difference in this Ramadan and help reunite families on this blessed day.

Sisters are even better than brothers in regards to this as a lot of the sisters do not have their mahram to travel with due to obvious reasons :(

HHUGS Brings A Little Happiness This Eid

HHUGS distributed gift vouchers to the families of detainees this Ramadan so they could celebrate and enjoy a happy Eid. The vouchers were funded entirely from your kind donations

One of the wives commented:

"I want to let you know that the kids received the vouchers and they got some toys with it, may Allah reward you and your families with jannat-tul-firdaus. Inshallah I will not forget the khair (good) you have done for me and my family" - Mother of 2, South London
