Salaam Alikum.

I just discovered that a student at my college died yesterday. The school isn't releasing details, but I got an e-mail saying counseling is offered and such.

I personally didn't know the student, but I was just checking out his facebook and everything, and he wasn't much older than me. I see his facebook and realize that he was just like me. I see his history where he's adding friends, posting stuff, yet never knew he would die soon.

I've known this for awhile, but this brings an unsettling reminder that we can die at any time. I don't know what my life will be like tomorrow, the day after, or so forth. Allah (SWT) plans best, but I have no idea what His Intentions are. Therefore, if I die at any time for any reason, I just want you to know that I have no bad intentions or thoughts towards any of you, and I hope you have none towards me. If I've said anything inflamatory or offensive, I hope you forgive whatever I said.

ditto, I'd like to take the opportunity to do the same- On this blessed month and f course always one should always ask forgiveness...I can come out with stuff I tend to regret- I am sorry if ay of you had to witness it!

they drowned. but then again one of the guy's girlfreind tried to save him but couldnt. talk about being at the wrong place at the wrong time. to be with ur girlfreind on a beach at the time of ur death. subhanallah

I was just checking facebook and found the guy's profile. I couldn't log on because I'm not in his network. But still, it's sad to think he was just another person who died tragically, along with his friends while his girlfriend watched.
