Oh please sis...maturity and sophistication...is that what your staking your claim that females are better than males??? It is true that females mature earlier than men but this trends seems to be diminishing rather quickly. As for why they want to get married later than females...hows about this...they have to pay for everything...now that kinda money just doesn't come overnight now does it. :)

WHY does education always stop sisters from getting married??

I mean by the time they finish there around 22-24..Alhamdullilah.

And why would anyone want to lead a single life? when they are able to get married?
The Kuffar talk of a single life, for the muslims the life of Marriage is the enjoyment and the fulfilement of half of ones deen.

Are we all looking upon Marriage like our parents are viewing it?
Is Married life just the normal bore?

Surely having a soul mate a person to love care and talk to is more enjoyable than sulking or feeling lonely yourself, OK YOU HAVE PROBLEMS! but that comes with the package..:D :D

I wanna do a degree and have a decent career - make a difference in the world; it's difficult with kids, and since contraception is Haraam, kids are naturally the next step in marriage.

Marriage season seemed to be going on here at ummah, just thought would share it with u all, since am really happy about , not me, but two of my best and only friends got engaged and are going to get married soon, finally me is getting the opportunity to wear my nice dresses:D

Sis...congrats on your friends getting married. A good friend of mine got married over the phone to someone in Pak. He is pretty happy about it. I am in the same boat as you sis...all these new clothes from Pak i.e. white long formal shalwar Kameez, with a long blue coat with silver lining...but carn't wear it until he actually has a ceremony.

But maybee i get a chance to wear the clothes before then...maybee i will just get married :scratch: :D.

Sis sounds good...i already have my wedding suit planned...a good pair of blue shorts...and a good shirt...maybee a flannalet shirt. And for shoes...you cannot go pass my joggers...no socks of course...i carn't wait to wear it...am soo happy when the time comes...i am not going to wash the shirt or shorts until i get married...they are great to wear when you play football...and have to sleep...and oh yeah...to mow the lawn as well...

As for my dress sense for my marriage...i recon...on a serious note...i will go for a traditional Pakistani wedding suit...i really like the newish type of Shalwar Kameez suits...especially the ones they have for marriage.

Well...sis...thats one of the reasons i go. I asked my mum where do parents keep an out for prospective son or daughter in laws and she said at weddings. So people...on ya best behaviour on them, becuase there are talents scouts out there :)

Married life is full of excitement and frustration:
* In the first year of marriage, the man speaks and the woman listens.
* In the second year, the woman speaks and the man listens.
* In the third year, they both speak and the neighbors listen.

It is true that love is blind but marriage is definitely an eye-opener.

Getting married is very much like going to the restaurant with friends. You order what you want, and when you see what the other fellow has, you wish you had ordered that.

People are funny. Inately looking for a significant other to fill the void of thier life :)...ahh...who ever said that huan beings are not predictable :).

Ok now...chocolate...i sue to have about a mars bar every 6 months or so, that filled cravings. But now, its at least a small bar or two a week of white chocolate. Oh why does it taste soo good :scratch:

A negative though, i ain't been going to the gym for a long time, like 2 months :cry: Why do i feel fat and lathargic :cry:

Well Mumsy came to me and told me that she has decided i am ready for the marriage market and that she is looking for someone. I am not sure what to tell her, i am confused on if i should get married or should not.
