As Salaamu Alaikum,
Get hold of a decent DVD/CD Writing software. I personally would suggest Nero Burning Rom. Although there should be plenty freeware/shareware software available for download at download.com (www.download.com).
When you choose the disc format, make sure to select Audio Disc, unless you're copying an MP3 CD, in which case you'd have to use Data format.

Hmm... What is the file extension of these files. It may be that they are streaming Audio. Please can you provide a link, so we could have a look.
To show the file extension of files, go to:
My Computer > Tools > Folder Options > View
Deselect Hide File Extensions for known file types

You seem to be doing everything ok. They should work. Where have you tried using this disc, have you tried putting it into a CD Player/Stereo. Some times PC's don't recognise disc's well.

Ok you know when you open Nero and can click and drag a file into the Add box when you do that with these they say file can't be read..sometimes says file cant be found..but if I download from Limewire it will take about half the songs like 6 or 7 and the rest say file cant be found..

It seems these files are currupt. If you've got Nero WaveEditor, open them up and Save as either .mp3, .wma or .wav. Using a different file name. Try and see if Nero recognises the file now.
