out there are millions of muslims who wait all year for the arival of this blessed month<o></o>
what we must understand is that there are diff approaches towards ramadhaan<o></o>
some love ramadhaan, others don't care<o></o>
the frist group - there are many out there<o></o>
Insha'Allah we are among them<o></o>
who make duaa months bfore ramadhaan and ask their lord to be alive in the coming ramadhaan<o></o>
: 6months before the month arives us they ask allah to be kept alive till the next ramadhaan<o></o>
they ask allah to keep them allive for the arival of the month of mercy<o></o>
may allah keep us among them<o></o>
while on the other hand when they hear the word ' ramdhaan'<o></o>
they become worrried and angry<o></o>>
just for hearing the word ramadhaan<o></o>
for them to witness the ramadhaan<o></o>
they see ramadhaan as a special<o></o>
a valuable <o></o>
a precious jewel<o></o>
so they embrace and welcome this golden guest<o></o>
not with food, sweets, drinks<o></o>
but <o></o>
they welcome this precious jewel with sincerity, repentence, comitment, will-power<o></o>
humbleness<o></o>
self sacrifise<o></o>
this beautiful guest with righteousness<o></o>
with love satisfaction, enjoyment and happiness<o></o>
this group
they see this guest<o></o>
: they open the door wide for it and hug it<o></o>
they see this time as one of the greatest opportunities to strengthn then bond with their lord<o></o>
so it will take them through the remaining months of afflictions and trials<o></o>
they dnt see it as one month, and then flickig through the tv when ramadhaan finished<o></o>
rather they know they need to varnish it for la illaha illallah<o></o>
they see it as a great time to polish the quraan form the piles of dust<o></o>

we have the quraan placed on our walls<o></o>

who cannot afford anything<o></o>

I think it's a nice way similie and that is from one the teachers of the alims himself.

As a brother mentioned previously, the Ijazaa is established by those who teach them their religion, not by the name of their degree.

Was the sheikh on today? I came on at 9:20 then Abi Hurayrah said that the room will be on at 10 and I waited till 10:20 and the room didn't open.

I was sooooooo upset cos I really wanted to listen and I am scared that I missed it again. So did I?

Seems like you did miss it na'am sister, not sure why though as at either 9am or 10am from what a brother told me it did take place unless the time again changed. :confused:
