Sources of Islamic History

Brothers and Sisters I would like to know of any sources you may have that describe any aspect of islamic history, but in particular the battles of the muslims against the kuffar.

I need to know the information in detail.

Also detailed biographies of Khalid bin Walid, Hazrat Umar, Salaadin.

I don't know about Sources,
But Darussalam published an abridged version of "The History of Islam" by Akbar Shah Najeebabadi in 3 volumes (in april,2000)
They have offices in New York and Houston (tels 001 718 625 5925 & 001 713 722 0419. In England, they are represented by Al Hidaayah Publishing & Distribution, Birmigham, 0044-121-753 1889.
The History spans approximately 950 years, from the birth of the Prophet, sawa, to the death of the first Caliph of the Ottoman Empire in 926 hijra. (1520, gregorian)
