Nourishment of the Soul

The body acquires energy from a wide range of foods and drink, in a similar manner, the soul is fortified and acquires excellent condition through different kinds of worship and good deeds.
Allah SWT says in Surah Shams, verse 7 to 9: "By the soul and Him that moulded it and inspired it with the knowledge of sin and piety: blessed shall be the man who has kept it pure."
