I apologise to come to the public part to take up this issue with brother Guvna.
When I saw his extremely hurtful, slanderous and libelous comment I sent him a private e-mail to qualify his comment. He failed to respond.
As a muslim he must be aware of the Shariah which states clearly the caveats on passing comments or accusations without basis.
As such, assuming he knows his Deen, I again invite this brother to qualify his accusations and bring forward evidence so that I can be properly exposed to my alleged wrongful deeds.
If not I invite him to clearly and porperly apologise and clear my name.
Should he fail to do both then I have legal remedy available and it will bring the Ummah Forum into disrepute because it is the forum that has provided him the platform to pass libelous and slanderous comment.
If you look at my original text it clearly shows that I am NOT marketing my package at all but that I am informing readers that Dr Khalid Khan is accompanying Rainbow Travels as their scholar.
I am sure many readers know who Dr Khalid Khan is.
The intention, on my part, is to assist many readers looking for a genuine group to go on Haj with.
One only need to look at last year's fiasco and the discussion it generated on this forum to see the dangers of selecting wrong operators.

Many readers have approached me, in private to seek advise on Umra and Haj tours and I have impartially given sincere counsel. Most importantly, I am not marketing my own service here at all. So why the attack Guvna?

To the administrators I ask that they scrutinise comments more deligently in future.

I have removed that comment however im disturbed of your comments of threatening legal action. It has the internet and anyone can post anything so you saying that you can Prosecute ummah.com legal action will just get thrown back at you...that comment is out of order and was uncalled for. You dont really have a case and its quite baseless..What exactly they gonan do? Close the forum down simply cos someoen made a comment at you calling you "Fake" ???

If you report posts then we will respond like i replied to your email, however making veiled threats like this is out of order..if peopel find anything wrong with posts then report it

we dont have time to go thru 2000 posts that goes in this place daily thats why there are such facilities.

Jazakallah Khair for responding swiftly to my complaint and removing the obnoxious message from brother Guvna.

Perhaps I could have worded my message better.

I was not making veiled threats against the forum at all nor inferring such things. I meant to say that were I forced to consider exercising my right to seek legal redress against such an insulting comment, The forum could be dragged into it because Guvna is a member and you would be asked to reveal his identity and address for the legal action to be proceeded against him.

The Forum serves the Ummah well and is a necessay mean to exchange information and to bring together an otherwise distant society. It also serves as a mean to express opinions and views and the more the better.

However, that does not mean free license to abuse and slander others taking advantage of and manipulating the open and free access to the forum by a few misguided member/s.

Hence, the administrator must take responsibility that such exploitation of the forum is prevented.

An innocent banter is exactly that and an open abuse is another. Elsewhere in the discussion threads there is much fun being poked at the Surti community by the non surti gujratis and I, being a surti, take it squarely as such.

On several occasions I have offered impartial advise to many members asking for the same when preparing to book their Umra trip or seeking information about hotels etc.

The Nakshbandi Haj Turmoil of last year should be a living example on how rogue agents can mislead innocent mutamirs or hujjajs. It is with that scenario in mind that I informed members through this forum about Shaikh Dr Khalid Khan leading the Rainbow Hajj group for Hajj this year. Those of you who do not know him, Dr Khalid Khan appears regularly on Islam Channel. It is not my package that I was marketing.

I thank you for your timely action once again and am still hopeful that brother GUVNA does come on the scene and admit his error. However, whether he does or not I rest my case here and close the sad issue.

I appreciate the inherent problem therein in general over IDs. In case of Guvna we all know he is here in UK and most probably in Blackburn.
