Enemies...

Enemies that you do not see or do not expect are extremely dangerous. They may appear to be harmless friends or acquaintances, and by the time you realise their true motives, their damage would have already been inflicted on you.

It is no coincidence, therefore, that intelligence agencies all over the world are actively seeking out secret agents that may be implanted in their midst. At the same time, they are constantly recruiting their own secret agents in different countries to gather classified information about those countries, and to help them uncover spies that may be working against them. We call this kind of dealings Intelligence War.

This war has its own ways and tools, the mastery of which is a crucial element in winning or losing such war. This is true, as we all know, of this ‘Seen’ world we live in. We have enemies who present various levels of danger, and we do have to defend ourselves and take care of our own. We do die if necessary to win the war.

But what about the world of the Unseen? What about our relationship with other worlds?
We all know about the ‘human-wars’, we understand their dangers, and we have learned of various ways avoiding them. Do we realise that there is another kind of war, lead by creatures from the Unseen World, which we cannot avoid, a war that is constantly being waged against us and is extremely difficult for us to win?

I hope the answer is in the affirmative. Because our constant, true and deadly enemy comes from the World of the Unseen to sneak and creep into our lives when we least expect it, in order to cause most damage.

This enemy is Satan.

"Put on the whole armor of God, That you may be able to stand against the schemings of the devil.
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of this darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places."
Ephesians 6
