Assalamu Alaikum, Dear brothers and sisters please make dua for this humble servant of Allah, I intend to travel to the 2 most holiest cities in the world to spend the full month of Ramadhan, may Allah swt make it possible for me.
I'd like to know if anybody has stayed at the Aziz Plaza hotel in Makkah and Rawdhat Mubarak in Madinah? How far are the hotels from the holy masjids, and what type of hotels are they? Any small or large informaton is most welcome.
p.s Can you recommend any well respected tour operator that will provide food and accomodation for the whole month of Ramadhan.
I am based in the north of UK.
JazakAllah Khair.

Hmmm, I haven't stayed in Aziz Plaza but Al-Haramain stayed there for Hajj this year. It's not too far from the Masjid imo. About 5 min walk (casual walk) - which is ok for Ramadhan/Hajj imo.

Wa Alaikum Salam WR
Aziz Plaza is located on Jabal Kaba Street and around 200 meters from the Haram Courtyard. It is graded at 3 star by the chamber of commerce but it is pushing the limit, by UK standard, to even say it is 2 star plus.
This Ramadan, the whole hotel will be occupied by Brit Umra Agents such as:
Satia from Blackburn; Al Farah from Leicester and Khidmah from London. However, all of them will be gone to Madina by 20 Ramadan.
Food will be available if you speak to the group leaders of these travel agencies and you will have to pay. Food will be far more better then what you may get outside and easier too as you will avoid ques and que jumpers.
Rawdah Mubarak, like Aziz Plaze, is a 3 star hotel and it is a 3 star category.
It is facing the Rawdah side of the Masjid-e-Nabavi but more towards the right and nearer to the Masjid Gamama and the date market. For men it is easier to get to the masjid but sisters will have to walk a lot to get into their respective women sections.
I trust this helps.
