As Salaamu Alaikum,
I don't really care for English names. The following are my favourites:
Girls:
Dujana – After the Sahaabah/Mujahid Abu Dujana.
Hanifah – After Imaam Abu Hanifah. Hanifan, which means Islamic Monotheism.
Taqwa – God fearing/piety.
Ahlam – I don’t know why I like this name, some girl had it at college, always liked it.
Boys:
Talha – After the Sahaabah/Mujahid Abu Talha.

Lots of Muslim names sound nice in English. MashaAllah we named our daughter Ruqayya (which is pronounced Rukayya but English people at least can say it) and everyone in the family (non Muslims as I'm a revert) said what a nice name it is, and they can all pronounce it too mashaAllah.
avoid names that start with dhal or start with/contain any of the letters in Arabic that don't exist in English. Particularly avoid names with Ha' (as in Hamas, Himaar etc) in the middle cause English people can't cope with it at all. Ahmad becomes Aaarrrm-id  for example.
Also avoid names with unusual stress patterns that English people can't cope with (for example my former Arabic teacher said she knew someone called banaa' which gets pronounced as "banner" in English  )
Basically just say the name with a completely English accent, and if it still sounds nice and mostly like it should, inshaAllah it won't be mangled by English people.
Also avoid names that start Abdu or Abdul, Umm or Abu cause English people will only use the first part of the name - use them as middle names and something English people can handle as first names inshaAllah

boys names that sound nice in English:
Hassan, Omar, Ali (though might get pronounced like the word alley; in US english is pronounced like Ollie), Bilaal, Abdullah, Sami
Osama, Hussein and Jihad also sound very nice in English, but non Muslims may assume certain political connotations lol :p .... and Jihad might become JEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEhad in the wrong hands
girls names that sound nice in English:
Jannah, Hannah, Saara, Jameela, Layla, Naadia
InshaAllah if I think of more later I'll come and post them

Because if you are from England and your family are non Muslims, you need to give your kids names they can pronounce. :p It can't do a lot for a kid's self confidence if none of their grandparents or aunts and uncles can pronounce their names, or any of the teachers in school and so on. There are enough problems that you encounter as a revert to Islam, and potential problems for the kids with non Muslim family members, conflict of values and so on, you don't want to add to that unnecessarily by choosing a name for them that the family can't pronounce. We want our kids to have Muslim names and an Islamic identity, but some names are easier for English people to pronounce and sound nice in English as well as Arabic. My daughter mashaAllah is called Ruqayya and thats easy to say in English, and several non Muslim family members have said what a lovely name it is. Alhamdulillah.
