Let's say you're watching TV or something, and the door rings. You open the door, and the Prophet Muhammd (PBAH) is standing there.

What do you do? What would you say to Him? Quickly clean the house as best you could? Would you want to dress traditionally? Read the Qu'ran constantly with Him? Perform more than the daily 5 salaat?

Have you ever thought about what it would be like if the Prophet Muhammad (PBAH) showed up to your house?

I would try to learn sooo much from him.

I would ask him about everything I do and need to know...

i would ask in the sense that in his SAW time he was able to tell some sahaba and sahabi wether they were going to go to jannah or jahannum, not meaning that he is like Allah SWT and knows where everyone is going.

If he (saw) turned up to my local masjid, he'd get branded a "dodgy waabi" and kicked out:rolleyes:

And to tell you the truth... I think your post was inappropriate.

I think this thread has made people realise something: that they would act differently infront of the prophet Muhammed (SAW) than they usually would, but like angel* said.. Allah is always watching us... so he presence should really have no effect.

SO THE prophets turning up is irrelevant for change as he is not master of the day of judgement

and we do not do worship him

BUT ALLAH:lailah:

if he showed up at my house. I think after greetings and a nice meal, i would ask him questions on things the ummah is split about

As Salaamu Alaikum,

I'd start crying. And I'd be a nervous wreck, if I’m able to summon enough courage to say anything, I’d ask if he could teach me the Deen, and make Dua’ to Allaah (swT) for me.

Interesting. I posted this same thread on another Muslim forum and got the same reply from a poster there. So I'll give my reply from that forum:

I see what you're saying, but I don't worship Prophet Muhammad (PBAH). He's just highly regarded and respected in Islam, so I was interested to hear from people what they would do if He showed up at your house. I could say "what would you say and do if Allah (SWT) showed up at your house", but Allah (SWT) is not a Physical Being. You know what I'm saying?

Sorry for any confusion or anything.

Salam brothers and sisters.

Why do peeps get so silly in here?

Alhamdulillah the post is a good one, we all know that Allah is our master and is always watching us, no one is disputing that.

Also Allah is not in his creation he is outside of his creation so wouldn't come knocking at our front door.

Well if the prophet knocked at my door how would i know it was really him, i guess from the descriptions we know of i'd figure it out, i would most definately give him a massive hug..... and embrace him for ages.

Kiss his hands and invite him in. Cater to his needs and hope to pray behind him. Watch him closely the way he walks, talks, eats and prays.

I'd ask him to make dua for me and ask him about his miraculous journey to the heavens, how he endured so much through his life, advice for me to imrove myself and i'd be too scared to ask if he knew whether i was going to make it into jannah.

Wasalam.

I'd start crying.

I would ask loads of questions and would love to seek guidance from Prophet Mohammmad (PBUH). I would ask him to make Duaa for me and my family and pray to Allah to forgive all his people. :)

but ALLAH is watching us already

AND IT SEEMS most are saying theryd change or be embarased by the prophet

why

ALLAH IS ALREADY WATCHING US

and mohammed saw ..IS NOT master of the day of judgement

remember..

when hadhrat umar r.a. mourned huzoor s.a.w. too much

abu bakr r.a...said....let him who worshipped mohammed know he is dead

and whoever worships allah.

ALLAH IS WITH US

this thread and its premise is inappropriate

I hear a lot of people saying that and I don't disbelieve it but does anyone have a reference from the Quran or even the Hadith that confirms it?

Because I was under the impression that no distinction should be made between the Prophets.

Great point, it's like when people say I wont watch TV or listen to music during Ramadhan but I will during the rest of the year! If you believe it's wrong (I don't) then (this my come as a news flash) it's wrong all year round!!
