Great, MasAllah!

Especially about the bit where Westerners fought for rights which Islam gave to women 1400years ago or something!

i have a quest..i know tht women must cover whole body except hands and face..then why i see all muslim women wearing in summer those sandals ( summer shoes) and u can see their legs' fingers and skin on tht ending part of leg (i dunno name of it)..i am bit confused..men and omen tell me is allowed but i still wear like spring shoes for not showing any centimeter of leg skin..so?

You mean sandals that expose their feet?

Well my personal preference is not to wear sandals with my abaya just because I pefer wearing shoes.

I don't personally think there's anything wrong with wearing sandals with abaya but have to be careful that your covered probably up to the ankle I guess.

I don't know *shrugs shoulders* never really researched into it.

I haven't worn sandals with abaya anyways. Just don't think it goes. But seen many sisters who have? Maybe because like when you pray you don't need to have your feet covered (hanafi madhab ruling). *shrugs shoulders*

thanks sis for sharing this
I especiallly like this

“The very same headscarf revered as a sign of ‘holiness’ when worn by Catholic Nuns, is reviled as a sign of ‘oppression’ when worn by Muslim women.”
[Sherif Abdel Azim]

Islam is not what some Muslims do but what all Muslims are supposed to do!

but I will never understand those hijjabis with tight trousers and those t-shirsts with short sleeve...whats the point of hijjab then:rubeyes:
hijjab is not just peace of scarf on the head:rubeyes:

i like the 2nd abt islam and wht u said is really true..u put hijab for not attracting man with hair but u attract them with body which i worse i think..better do not put hijab if u wear unappropriate clothes for it cuse u will attract attention by having a hijab but being dressed like a non-hijabi..
