Reese Witherspoon, Jake Gyllenhaal, Meryl Streep, Peter Sarsgaard and Alan Arkin star in Rendition, a thriller from director Gavin Hood (Tsotsi). Witherspoon stars as the American wife of an Egyptian-born chemical engineer who disappears on a flight from South Africa to Washington. The woman desperately tries to track her husband down, while a CIA analyst (Gyllenhaal) at a secret detention facility outside the U.S. is forced to question his assignment as he becomes party to the man’s unorthodox interrogation. Rendition is scheduled for an October 19th, 2007 release.

My review based on the trailer: The whole idea of "rendition" disturbs me. As one poster here said, he was in the military so he knows how they "interogate" you. I don't know if I can watch this.

I don't know about anyone else, but I have trouble watching the trailer, let alone going to see the movie. It just makes it scarier to think this is based on true events.

It's sad to know that somewhere in the world this is happening to our Muslim brothers. We should always do dua for them.

I tried to watch it but I get a pop up saying that I can not watch it my area :confused:

True. I don't know what I would do in their place.

Same here. I don't think I could handle the torture, especially the mental torture. Most of the guys are innocent. They don't even know why they've been arrested or whats gonna happen to them.
