Any of you use wireless connection? How much are u charged every month? How about wireless network on campus, how much a student is charged for using wireless network?

You are not charged for a wireless connection, you simple pay for your broadband as you normally do ie. NTL, tiscali etc.

If you want it to work wirelessly, you have to purchase the right wireless router wihch costs from £50-£100. Configure it correctly, have a wireless picking up device on your laptop and there you go.

Things are not always as simple as this though when configuring it, but thats the basic jist.

You are not charged for connecting to a netwrok, your laptop allows you to do so, however most networks are encrypted so even though you connect you will not be able to go online.
