i ask this because there was an email going round a year or so ago that claimed that in Nando's meat factory bit...if they ran out of halal meat they would mix in the haram meat.....also that their supplier i think called Dewsbury , their licence had expired.
not sure wether to eat there or not......iof anyone can come out with some evidence either way, will be grateful..ta:up:

Please read: NANDO'S is H-A-R-A-M! (http://ummah.com/forum/showthread.php?t=76966) there are major doubts as to their version of what 'halal' actually is as their meat is stunned and the means of slaughter is not known nor how the separate the halal chicken from the haraam ones.
It is best to avoid them and choose Muslim alternatives with trusted brothers and sisters of ours such as: http://www.pandoos.co.uk/

The peri-peri powder they put on the chips is divine, but they don't sell it nor give the recipe away-I asked last time I was there!

They also serve alcohol there which would make it haraam.

Haven't eaten Nando's for nearly two years, I'd rather stay away from that which is doubtful, I personally prefer a half grilled chicken from Chicken Cottage.

There is a Nandos in Birmingham's Star City (one of the wierdest leisure/entertainment centres I've ever been to) and many Muslims eat there and think it's Halal - I honestly wouldn't know cause the only time I was ever there I went for a veggie-delite sub. And yes, Im aware of how boring I am :D

Wa Alaikum Salaam,What Does The Food Taste Like? It's way over rated and over priced, the rice is just plain hideous, and their sources are nasty.
Jazaak Allahu khair for the heads up.
