Are we allowed to eat strong scented crisps whilst in the state of Ihram? Like Cheese & Onion, Salt & Vinegar etc.

I know we are not allowed to use scent, whether on the clothes or on the body, or in food or drink?

But would this type of flavored crisps be classed as 'scent'?

Indeed...quaint.

Sorry bro, I think this counts as one of the "too many questions" that people ask, and end up making Islam more difficult for themselves. May Allah protect us from this. Ameen.

Why are you making issues out of irrelevance? There are far more crucial matters concerning your umra than getting hung on what to eat when in Ihram such as ensuring that the source of your income is Halal from which you will be spending towards yoour Umra...that you mind the Faraidhs of Ihraam when in Haram and not losing your Sabar and that you make a concrete contract with Allah never ever to allow Shaitan to get better of you and then vigorously get involved in discharging your duty towards the Ummah as a muslim.. Eating crisp in Ihraam does not rate on a 1 to million point amongst all that.
