Big Problem ere....!!!!

O.k so here goes:
Me and my family hav been plannin on goin umrah 4 lyk ages. Weve booked our flights, hotels everything 4 four weeks and alhamdulillah this was supposed to b our fourth time. However the saudi embassy in london hav gone and lost our passports and were supposed to be flyin this sunday inshaallah. Ne1 got any advice on what to do? im soooooo angry and upset. Plz make duaa that Allah grants me and my family the ability to go to Saudi Arabia for umrah this Sunday. Shukran. :crying: :crying: :crying:

Got to peterborough/liverpool passport office (ring them ) and see if you can get new passport made on same day and then take it direct to ssaudi embassy to get the visa - they may do that if they admit they have lost it. However, if they find your original passport- makes things tricky.

Your sincerity is applaudable but you are giving wrong advise brother.
Yes you can have a new pasport as an emergency but saudi embassy cannot issue the umra visa even if it admits liability - which they never will - because a MOFA has to come from Saudi Arabia first.

The existing mofa was used up already when your agent submitted your passport to the consulate to place the visa and which they did. Hence the embassy is prohibited from issuing a duplicate visa even if they admit it is their fault losing your passport.

Your agent will have to apply for new Mofa if you intend to have a new passport because the new passport will have new number.

No passports are ever lost by the embassy. They are handed over to different agents regularly by the consulate and that is reckless to say the least on their part. But who can complaint?

Most agents, and I am one, check the passports at the consulate there and then. Any passports that does not belong to them are immediately returned back. However, a majority of the agents just walk out and check the passports at leisure in their office. Some of these agents could not be bothered to return back the passports speedily.

I am absolutely certain that your passport is sitting with one such agent.

I cannot suggest any remedy except to say that it is a test by Allah and only He can compensate you for your Sabar InshaAllah.
