W'salaam

You have to say SAAW at least once when referring to the Prophet (saaw).

I think the same applies to the 'RA' (when referring to the Companions (ra) of the Prophet (saaw).

everytime u hear the Prophet Muhammad's SAW name, u must send peace and blessings upon him.

Abu Hurayrah RA said: "The Prophet SAW climbed the minbar and said, 'Ameen, Ameen, Ameen.' He was asked, 'Messenger of Allah SAW , why did u do that?' He SAW said, 'Jibril (AS) said to me, "Shame (lit. nose of a slave be dusty) on a slave who is with his two parents or one of them while they are alive and does not enter the Garden." I said, "Ameen." Then he said, "Shame on a slave who goes through ramadan and is not forgiven." I said, "Ameen." Then he said, "Shame on a man who when you are mentioned in his presence, does not pray for you." I said "Ameen"."

SWT = Subhana Wa Ta3la
SAW = SalAllahu wa alayhi wa salam [peace be upong him]
RA = RadiAllahu anhu/RadiAllahu anhuma/RadiAllahu anha [may Allah be pleased with him/them/her]

SWT said is said after saying Allah SWT
SAW is said after saying Rasululah Mohammed SAW
RA is said after mentioning his companions RH
