Can't get Chat to work

Hi. I've tried to use the chat site but am unable to get it going for some reason. It says I'm missing applets in Netscape 4.79 and in IE 5.1 I get similar errors. I'm using a new Apple iMac G4 and running under System 9.2 (not using OS X - yet). Any advice, particularly from a Mac user, would be appreciated. Have been to IslamiCity several times, can get in easy, and no one there - very quiet. Would like to know if this site has a little more discussion going on....

YOu need to Download an Applet if using Netscape..also netscape is hopeless and running digichat it never works anyway its a java based console..
Internet Explorer it shud work try upgrading to the latest version....But as ur using mac with no operating system then i think thats the cause of the problem.

I'll continue trying. Will do an update to Netscape 6 (I've got the latest IE for Mac). I've heard Netscape 6 is problematic but I'll find out if it helps. My OS for my Mac is 9.2 (very recent) but I find there are times when it doesn't do everything I want. But what it does....it does very well...

If I find a solution I'll let you know..
