Salam,

Sorry to bother again, I was wondering if anyone knew the best place for Muslim women with Jilbab to apply for work in the UK (for foreigners)? Is there anyone or anywhere we could go to for help? I would appreciate it if someone could point me to the right direction. Thank you for your kind help. :)

InshAllah sis, try this website www.hijaabshop.com inshAllah there u will see a number try ringing them up and asking whether they have any jobs available, alternatively do search for hijaab or jilbaab websites they do sometimes recruit people.

What qualifications do you have? Surprisingy enough, if you go to the local job centre they will give you advice on getting a job.

Thank you. I have browsed their site, but didn't see any number. I don't think they would want to recruit someone coming from south east asia anyway. But I do appreciate your help.

Our local job centre does not have this type of service. That's why I am asking here. But thank you for your advice anyway.

If someone has a contact, I would really be indebted if you could put me through to the right person as I really need a job abroad. As long as it's a halal job, I don't mind working hard. I am praying that someone would help a helpless sister who's trying to support her family with halal income, and paying off family's debt. I really need help, I really am in a bad situation, and I am also running against time. Please, if someone has any contact in the UK, I am personally asking for your help as I do not know where else to go to. May Allah help you in the hereafter, for helping a sister out today. Thank you.

I agree with Kamilah, au pair for a Muslim family is not a bad idea although I don't know of any Muslim families in the UK that hire them but there are loads in Dubai and other parts of the middle east who do.

Which country are you on now?
What skills do you have?

Unfortunately I am above 30, so I can no longer be an au pair.

I'm from the South East Asia and I'm looking to work as a nanny if it's possible.

I was almost scammed by someone who offers me a nanny position in London, until I found out that this person has been using different photos that she claimed to be her and her so-called family. It is because of this, that I am requesting help from other Muslim brothers and sisters. But seems Muslims are too busy to help other Muslims who badly need some real help. What a sad world this is.
