Istikhara Dua for marriage query

I am going to read the dua tonight. I have a quick couple of questions:

Firstly, when reading the nafl namaz is there a special neeyat?

Niyat or intention is between you and ALLAH. ALLAH said HE is closer to you than the vein in your neck. HE knows you are standing to pray to ask HIM to show you which path to take regarding your marriage. In the last sujuud, ask ALLAH. The time we are closest to ALLAH is when we are in our sujuud.

But is good to stand quietly before takbeer and remind yourself what you are doing, prepare to concentrate 100% (Kusyoo')

so i can read the standard 2 rakah namaz nafal neeyat?

also, in istikhara dua there are a couple of places where you are meant to pause and replace the words of da dua with the thing you want..so when it says haa-zal'am-ra...do i say the word marriage instead?

if so, in any language?

I am a mother. ALL languages are understood by ALLAH. Stand before takbeer and in your heart you say to yourself, you are praying istikharah to ask ALLAH to show you which one to choose. Isthikharah means when you have 2 choices and you dont know which one to choose.

Recite any surahs you know after AL Fatihah, there is no SPecific surah, all are not fardh or obligatory. Read what you know, what you remember, no pressure, in your last sujood ask ALLAH in whatever language you know. Ask seriously from the heart, from your heart.. HE will answer..
