I have had OCD for almost 8 years and despite my best efforts have been unable to find a cure for this. From an islamic perspective I have recited from quran and read namaz.It is having a detrimental impact on my family life and would like some advice on this.

i will ask an aamil for some ruqyah(specific quranic aayahs )inshaallah

be thankful to allah that allah has kept the laws of cleanliness very simple

wudhu.istinja,ghusl,washing hands etc


usually something like ocd has underlying problems and unresolved issues which need to be addressed/confronted and resolved

:)
be at peace as much as you can and try to relax

solve the possible causes inshaallah and the cure will come :)

Thankyou for your reply. I am undergoing therapy for this.However as I have had so many blocks to recovery I began to suspect evil eye/spell as a possible cause. However Im not sure if I should explore this further. I would be grateful for any duas I can read.

Thankyou for your reply. I am seeking professional treatment for my problem but seem to be very resistant to it, this has made me wander about evil eye/spells etc. Im not sure if I want to go down this route.I will be grateful for any duas you can recommend for me to read.

in the case of evil eyes/spells, there are certain duas u can recite to ward these off, but u must have faith in allah

every curse/evil eye sent by sum1 has to go thru allah first, nuthing happens that he does not know, and nuthing occurs without his permission/knowledge, and therefore he is the only one to stop it. im sure inshallah if u recite the recommended duas for nazr (evil eye) allah (swt) will surely listen to you, and i pray that inshallah u will be cured soon
