I have to make analysis of a system, and design it using the Structured English method. Apparantly its used with DFD's and Data Dictionary. So far I could find only that the Structured English(SE) method is one of the three major conceptual tools, DFD's,DD en SE. Was wondering if anyone else knows about, I really need some help, else am gonna fail if I dont do it right this time.:(

UML,Yourdon and ERD I know, jazakAllah akhi but teacher wants this Structured English one as well. I cant seem to find much about it.
I did made a design in UML first but he wasnt satisfied with, he wants it more object oriented.

I found out what it is,incase someone wonders
Structured programming + natural English = Structured English
Examples of Structured English - 1
For each customer number in the customer table
For each loan in the loans table that matches the above customer number
Keep a running total of loans
Keep a running total of the original loan principal
Keep a running total of the current loan balance
Keep a running total of the amounts past due

This is what I had to do was so easy and was fussing over it for no reason
For each visio document
Action1: Catch OpenEvent function
Action2:Control document
If is modulor document
Then action 1:check version number
if is modulor version 4.1
then action1:make menu items ready
action2:make document ready for further use
else if is 4.0 modulor version
then action1:upgrade to 4.1
action2:synchronise with database
action3:make menu items ready for further use
action4: make ready for further use
else if is 3.1 modulor version
then action1:convert to 4.1
if conversion successful
then action1: place in database
action2:synchronise with database
action3:make menu items ready
action4:make ready for further use
else give error conversion not successful
else give error ,close document
Else do nothing
