The is the first session of the proposed Ash-Shabab Leadership which is aimed at bridging the gap between young people and their community leaders. It aims to achieve this by highlighting the role of leadership in a community, the work that is carried out by leaders of a community, a company and even in politics. It also seeks to describe the qualities that make a good leader from the perspective of young people, and to help young people develop their leadership skills.

At the end of the session it is hoped that young people from different areas will interact with each other; participants will have observed good role models; good and bad leadership qualities would be highlighted; and participants will have the confidence to share ideas and express their opinions.

Admission is free but only 30 places are available, so early booking is recommended. Young people aged 14–25, both male and female are welcome.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
