As a matter of principle, whether she was a call girl or not is irrelevant now that she's reverted, I don't even see why anybody need know her past (or why she should feel obliged to let any prospective husband know about it)

She's just like any other Muslim lady, so I don't understand the question!

Although I know where you're trying to head the discussion :p

Hmm, She'd better be among the Hoor Al Ayn for me to settle for one women, but since I'm currently single might aswell start with the first :)

Allah ta ala forgives all the past sins of those who come to Islam. A revert to Al Islam is as sin free as a new born baby masha Allah, so a revert muslims past, is irellevant , as no one has the right to ask them about it, so no brother would know that she used to be a call girl anyway

if ur anti-polygny then ur not a decent brother full stop because how can someone call themselves decent and then be anti wot allah *swt* has permitted and what the nabi *saw* and the sahaba *ra* performed...

Maybe she means brothers who dont prefer polygny, not necesserily "anti".

It is true Allah ta'ala forgives all sins and Alhamdulillah in Islam, we don't need to confess our sins to anyone.

However, as a sister, I would LOVE it for my husband to marry more than one wife (I know that's not the question) but if she used to be a call girl, I would want to know and I'd tell my husband to let her get tested for all the sexually transmitted diseases in the world cos it's not about being stupid.

i dont understand how anyone can be anti polygamy???

these are the rights that Allah has given....how can we now become anti to the rights granted by Allah Almighty....how would you face Almighty Allah???

We are not the judges of people now their actions.....Allah is....

as previously stated in the thread by others....once u have reverted your sins are forgiven...

:wswrwb: islamic girl i think its just a hypothetical question, and the person would be an ex-call girl, and now a muslimah, and so Allah ta ala has forgiven all her sins and she is as sin free as a new born baby, so her past is irellevant, doesnt matter if she used to be a mass murderer ( hypothetically speaking of course ;) )

 sorry say that again ukhti,i dont understand what ur saying.

i dont have any problem with polygamy i think it should be encouraged, sadly neglected part of our deen and about time the muslim women encouraged their husbands to marry again if they can afford it insha Allah, and the muslim men should step up and take care of the muslim women as Allah ta ala has commanded them to

so many brothers were writing against polygamy in another thread u mean? well dont worry about them because Alhamdulillah many of the brothers here agree with polygamy and they have no problem with a womans past because they are masha Allah well educated in their deen and they know that a womans past before she came to Islam is completely forgiven by Allah ta ala.

In fact a revert may even have less sins, than a born muslim woman, because a revert is pure and free of sins upon their accepting islam so masha Allah Alhamdulillah.

I think though your original question " would you make her your first and only wife " really cant be answered because a man may want to marry again later on, u never know what Allah ta ala has in store for us, so no man can say yes i will only have one wife, he may want to marry again later and that is his right so masha Allah no muslim woman should have any problem with that insha Allah :)

That's just a lie, she's talking about the polygamy thread started by taliban1, and i was apparently one of those "anti polygamy" brothers, yet they can't show me even one anti polygamy statement that i made

jazakAllahu khairin akhi, ahh i see now what the purpose of the thread was, Didnt really make sense, it would be a strange world indeed if we had anti polygamy brothers ... id seriously be worried about a man who didnt love and want to marry and take care of women as his wives, as RasoolAllah salAllahu alleyhi wa salam and the companions radiAllahu anhum did.
