why oh why would you get involved in them?
apparently in the asian muslim community there are men and women who get married to folks from abroad for a fee so that the person from abroad can get a passport
just dont understand why folks would do this for money
live in there shoes then see why.....

no benefit in these kind of statements, there are trouble makers from both sides why make it like this to say one is better than the other...
as for these passport marriages, i think its okay if they actually intended to live together as a proper married couple but to do it for "convenience" only and then dont act like husband and wife, or for a fee... its making a mockery of what marriage is which is not right :rolleyes:

If they both got set agenda's.
they both stand to gain out of the marriage.........so u cant fault either of em innit.
money is a big factor and why not. If it works Do IT........lol!

Sometimes, its not only the men who are at it. Girls also favour these marriages if it means they can get out of their abusive homes, or can work/study as they please - whereas perhaps under their parents roof they weren't allowed to. I've seen this happen - perhaps its more common than we think.

dishonesty, and being dishonest for a muslim is forbidden, its lying, its cheating, and its making a false contract which is going to haunt them big time on the day of judgement.
Also think about all the lying involved in that... and the Prophet salaAllahu alleyhi wa salam said a muslim may fall into the sins of committing fornication or adultery, or even drinking alcohol, but a muslim could never lie ( apart from the 3 permissible types of lying mentioned in another hadith) so what sort of "muslim" would do such a thing... ? well according to the prophet salAllahu alleyhi wa salam, a real muslim, that is one who submits to Allah ta ala, could not do it, wouldnt even be phyically possible for the lies to fall out of their mouths if they are truely muslims...If any "muslim" finds its easy to lie and cheat others they should be seriously worried about their belief in Allah ta ala, and they should Fear Allah ta ala.

Yep, these false marriages are very wrong. In most cases people do it for money.
Lying is definitely involved, usually on a large scale. One would have to lie to the authorities to get them to believe one is happily married and planning to continue to live within this marriage in the specified country. In false marriages the couple usually pretend to be married, and will separate upon gaining entry into the country.
Very sad indeed.

lieing is looked upon as no sin at all nowadays by muslims and some u cant even tell they are lieing cos they are so good at it :rubeyes:
if u have had a false marriage based on lies and then come into the country based on these lies then any future earnings from u being int his country might be haraam becos they are onyl being earned becos of the lies u have built.
