Reading a juz' everyday?

i just wanted to confirm wat some1 said to me, is it true we must read 1 juz' of the quran everyday?

You should, its a good amal. Its not farsh though. As far as I know, its fardh to read the Quran once every 3 days...dunno if just reciting memorised parts counts or what. In fact, thats just what I heard, I don't know if thats true either.

Salam Alaikum,

No, you don't have to read 1 Juz' everyday. However, it is good if you read specific portion of the Quran daily.
