Lol. I used to play that a lot when i was a kid, apparently i was very good. My father was a master of it. I had all the moves, like striking the disk on all four corner of the board to hit the coin into the pockets.

Its same as playing a game of pool. Here we use our finger rather than the 'Stick' and the peices are flatter.

Are you allowed to hit it backwards with your thumb the way you (used to) play?

I get extra stressy on my bro to make sure that he keeps the striker on the circle. I even just shout "IT HAS TO BE ON THE CIRCLE!!!" even when I know he has it on there... just to make him mess up.

Or you call the "IT HAS TO BE ON BOTH OF THE LINES!!!" sometimes I just take ages to make sure this is the case before I take my go. This really gets to people's patience as well. hehehe

I'm not amazing, my specialty is the "fluke." Crazy shots where the counters roll on their circumference along the entire edge of the board to enter a pocket I really wasn't aiming for.

It's a great game....those who haven't played it are so lame (jokin...but its true)....

ps. As for non-Carom games, I liked this boxing game where you just press a button to punch until the other person got knocked off. Just one button, but the timing was key.

Well (you guessed it) how about online CAROM Board!!!....we could try and convince one of the IT people to adapt/make a game just for this site.
