I think it's sometimes true. But if they see the grandchildren really regularly they will have to cut down on spoiling them, and dont let them push the limits all the time. If they live very far and see only more rarely its natural to spoil alot, and its okay cos for the kids its just a treat not that they always get the chance 2 get wat they want jst by going 2 grandparents

Depends on the grandparents. They're obviously going to spoil them abit more than the parents but most also respect that their own children have certain methods of disciplining their children and so they wont tread on their toes so to speak.
Like my cousin, doesnt allow her children to have fizzy drinks (might seem like a small example) and thats a rule that the grandparents respect and also agree with. So yes on the odd occasion the grandparent might just let the kid have the fizzy drink but more often than not.. ive seen them comply with the parents wishes.

Grandparents are wicked.. i say let them spoil :p

All grand parents love their grand kids so much and they are not spoiling the children they just do with them what they haven't do with us... They are more smooth and will let pass many things to them then what they would do it with us... Parents are there for education and grand-parents to make the kids to enjoy the life.... lol ...
