Walking in the hallway

They may push me
they may shove me
they may Stab me on my back
Just cuz am a muslim
They know I won’t stand back
Here i am chillin and keeping it cool
When a wanna be shows up from the old school
Walking in the hallway
lowered my Gaze
They'll look at me like i'm crazy
but they will be the one with lowered gaze .
they were the one lazy and being a fool.
Cuz they didn't pay attention to Allah's rules
I'm a muslim
i will act like a muslim
so that i may look like a muslim
Still walking in the hallway
wondering wut did i do wrong
They bump into me
wishing my books will fall
and no one helping me .
Remembering Allah's word keeps me safe
they had stopped while they were behind
cuz they thought i was messing with thier mind
But now everytime i walk
they step back cuz they were hurt
so who were they dealing with that they could be alert
now walking through the hallway
i wanted to countinue this game
but they were put in too much shame.
I know they were confused
Or maybe even abused
See me hooded as I’m a muslim girl might as well call me the best
With my hard work now I can rest

There are so many gossips around
Wondering how in a hot weather
One can ever hide her face
In this modern era
So backward they behave
In this twenty-first century.
Acting like one of the Stone Age
What is the matter?
What is the reason?
Why are they hiding their beauty?
Are they all the same?
Or is someone forcing them
Or is there is a spell on them
Or what kind of virus
They are hiding themselves
Dignity and self-respect
Or Affection and Pride
Wearing a mark and covering
Being away from men or Society
Isolating in a dark cell
What a misery, what a pity
Don’t know modesty and disgrace
Beauty is for inner self
It is not for all and everywhere
Home is where the enjoyment is
Keeping away from desires and temptation
Like with the man of our fate.
Not worrying about deceiving or disgrace
Acting in an responsible way
Performing the duties when we bear
A Muslim women is not puzzled
Islam gives women an independent identity
Showing morals and spiritual environmental gain
Her success beliefs, attitude, behavior and conduct is what she aim
She is in every field of life
That is her dignity and pride.
