What is this "Islamic banking" :scratch:
And what is theology?
dunno bout theology :scratch:..but wouldnt all the banking stuff be apart of shari'ah...I mean Economics is based on Laws :scratch:

`Aqeedah (creed) for sure, is that what theology is there, because this amazing branch of `ilm isn't listed. What's more beautiful than learning about Allaah; His Names, His Attributes, and what He says of Himself?
`Aqeedah would also inc. fundamental must-know topics such as belief, disbelief, (meanings and nullifiers). This branch of `ilm will enable us to know Allaah, and how to increase our faith and stay clear from shirk.

Aqeeda = Theology

Also, Fiqh or Usool al-Fiqh. It's beneficial and fun learning jurisprudence, laws and shar`i principles (to me!).

I ment.. that there is no real islamic banking system because without doubt, the core of this system is interest or riba, which is explicitly forbidden in Islam. Every bit of money that enters an economy comes as a result of debt with interest to a bank.

Dunno lol.

ok thanx...In the past money was based on real commodities such as gold, silver or, going back to the time of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), dates or grains of cereals such as wheat. In such circumstances, anyone with the ability to produce these materials literally made money.
i wouldn't go down the mortgage route inshallah...best to avoid.

I'd love to join Islamic University of Madinah but the problem is that in the first two years they'll teach you Arabic. At the end of two years their is an exam and if you don't get 80% and above, you are not eligble to study further!! :( :(

My second choice would be shaira - again better

Hadith but i wish i could choose more than one option
studying Islamic Disciplines a.k.a Usool ad-Deen includes a cllective study of the subjects!
assalam,mainly we must ask a question like that:which studies have we to study as muslims and for necessity of ummah.the first education must be Quranical studies.along our life,we must be 'TAALEB' OR 'MATLUB' and all sciences are for minding and living of Islam.but where is 'ashaab-ı suffa' and their methods of education
