Assalamu alaikum,
For all those in the UK searching for Hajj and Umrah packages there's an event coming up in July 2007 where you will have the opportunity to meet numerous Hajj and Umrah tour operators advertising their company/packages.
www.hajjandumrahroadshow.com
'The event aims to bring in the UKs top quality travel and tour operators, providing visitors with the best Hajj and Umrah travel packages available along with other businesses and organisations catering for other hajj and Umrah needs, from guide books to ihrams and from health and safety information to visa and passport assistance.
Alongside the exhibition will be a set of speaker sessions running at various times of the day where visitors can attend freely for useful tips and advice for their pilgrimage. Visitors will also have the opportunity to attend a question and answer session.'
If anyone would like a copy of the flyer i can email it to you! Let me know!

Have you already made a booking for your umrah trip?
The point of going to such an event is so that you are aware of the different companies and, packages and prices available so you can get the best deal (according to your preferences) out there. You don't have to book your trip at the event, it's about meeting and speaking to the operators/agents, or simply collecting promotional leaflets and their contact details for future use, if not immediate. Also, you will have the opportunity to attend speaker sessions to gain tips and advice on going for/performing hajj and umrah, and there'll be a Q&A session at the end of each talk allowing you to clarify anything you're unsure about. InshaAllah there will also be a 'women only' session.
InshaAllah also exhibiting will be some Islamic bookshops and clothing stores where you can purchase necessities for your journey such as ihrams, abayas, scarves, guidance books etc.
I hope this has made things clearer for you. You can visit their website for more information: www.hajjandumrahroadshow.com

As this was the first ever Hajj & Umrah Roadshow, we chose four locations in England heavily populated with Muslims. This was to test the waters and to gage on the interest of the event. We have been approached by a number of people regarding taking the Roadshow to Scotland and it is something that we will definitely be looking into for next year.
Please do visit the website: www.hajjandumrahroadshow.com
By subscribing you will be regularly updated with any future developments. We have some great ideas in place for next year and great supporters joining us. So keep a watch out!
