What exactly do you do (ritual wise) in Ummrah?

As I was looking for ummrah packages for the summer, I found it odd that no group has a imam or something leading the umrah and I actually don't even know what one does for umrah. can someone briefly explain to me and do most people do it on their own?

Sorry that was a dumb question, on returning to the main page i saw you're in the US!!!

I was going to suggest attending an event (at 4 locations) in the UK where you'd be able to meet with Hajj and Umrah tour operators to view their available packjages, and also attend some speaker sessions on guidance and procedures!

salaams
before u enter makkah u put on the ihram and make intention for umrah with 2 rakats
you circle the kabah 7 times after making intention for tawaaf for Allahs sake
you pray 2 rakat near the station of Ibraheem a.s and then drink some zamzam. proceed to safa and marwa and starting from safa walk to marwa and then walk back. do 7 walks all togther so that u finish at marwa. then u go to the barbers and have ur head shaved to signal the finish of ur ihram state. this is really breif and there are many other points and details so the best thing to do is go to an islamic bookshop and buy a few guides. may Allah accept ur umrah .
