Need Help Opening this File

and it is saved as a m3u file, which is a playlist according to filext.com

so when i click the file, windows media player doesnt know what to do with it

i did the unplug thing and tried save it without the m3u, but realplayer, windows media player and quicktime cant open it

can anyone get this to open?

Akhi it doesn't work because there's a 404.

An m3u file just refers to another file somewhere (usually across a network i.e. on the internet) but that file doesn't exist at the location.

Try saving the m3u file then opening it with notepad, copy and paste the url you find into firefox.

That'll work for other m3u files where the file is there...although if thats the case should work with media player anyway (does with xmms, kaffeine etc...windows media player is pretty lame though so never know)

yup, i can confirm rashid's post, the file on the server doesn't exist hence why it's not working. most likely the file was removed or moved.

since you looking for juz amma, that should be chapter 78 through 114...

check out aswatalislam.net for more recitation, they got almost everyone you can think of.

but i was hoping to catch his recitation without interruption, i used to have it before, now i cant find it except at radioislam and its not there

but i was hoping to catch his recitation without interruption, i used to have it before, now i cant find it except at radioislam and its not there

well if you download each surah individually and then put em in a playlist, that shouldn't give you any interruption (in terms of having to switch surahs).

however, i've found the solution to your problem. it seems the file name was hyperlinked wrongly. below,find the two links for juz amma by qari jibreel:

M3U files open with winamp, they're winamp playlists.

Actually br they're not winamp playlists...they're standard/generic playlists, they might be configured to open with winamp on your computer :) They can be opened by any decent media player, shouldn't make a difference.
