when the followers of Musaylimah The Lier, run into the garden, they locked the gates so that the muslims couldn't enter. Al-Bara(ra) asked to be thrown into the garden in order to open it from inside!

He Killed (10) Men before he opened the gate for the Muslim!
20,000 of Musaylimah's Soldiers were killed in this garden, including Musaylimah himself! Then The Garden was named 'The Garden Of Death'
