i use a islamic 1, whenever car goes up a hill it says bismillah. When police car goes by it says aoozobillah heminshayta nerajeem, whenever a porchse goes past it says Mashallah!............. I wish!

Sat navs are useless, they always take teh long routes and not the short cuts ~torture~
On bros wedding, it took over an hour to get there - without sat nav, and on the way back, another person who had sat nav drove us back and it took almost twice as long ~torture~

That could be due to road works, time of travelling, ie peak times, incidents on the road, also going back to where you originally came from is always easiers (?), rather than going to a new/unknown place.

Sat Nav do have the facility to take you the, shortest route, quickest route, fatest route, etc...Just need to know how to use em accodringly ;)

actually pilots only use GPS because they need to be accurate, especially with large commercial jets, and for Instrument conditions.

A good pilot, even in a large jet, will easily be able to navigate in decent weather with no GPS!!

It wasnt me who was driving....and it was quicker getting there (without sat nav) than getting back).
There were no road works or traffic or anything, it was on a sunday at like 5 pm, so it wasn't peak time.

A-Z works fine for me :up:

For long/one off journeys, we use the route planner on the AA website and then look at the route on the map - tbh the route planner is just convenience - and you most certainly still need a map with you i've found.
