Islamway Channel

Asalamu Alaykum

Yeh I know you can view the channel on the net however I so not intend to sit ont his uncomfortable chair and keep my pc running just to watch it.

I got the white dish and can view aljazeera and all other arab channels just not Islamchannel:(

Someone tell me how I can get it?

Family have given number of the channel but I think cause the box we have is different then different number will come up as Islam channel for us just need to find out how.

I've scanned tha box but can't find the channel!:rolleyes:

does the dish need a change of direction? hmmm

or does islamchannel come with sky :s i haven't got sky only tha white dish

yup..i think ur dish is on 26(insert "degrees" sign here)east
it needs to be 28.2 (insert degrees sign here)east

is it a motorised system? can u get the dish to move via the remote control thingy?

spent like 30 minutes out in the rain..trying to re-align the dish..cos no one was home...had to keep moving a little and come back in to check :smack:
plus it's dangerous too.

its available on sky..

but u can get it other ways too..like with the set-up u have (if u move the dish)

wish i had sky with just islamchannel on the rest is waste of time so my mum cut it back when i was in yr6 (tha excuse was the man came and just took it away, we actually fell for it:rolleyes: )

my setbox was bought from hackney market! ma bro thinks not gonna work cause men used special digital thing.

plus im pretty sure it is..but have u got a digital or analogue box?

if u have a ATI or NVIDIA graphics card in your system (not integrated) then most likely you have a TV Out feature. u can send the Islam Channel signal to your TV from the computer so u wouldn't be watching it front of the pc monitor. back home I have my desktop connected to my tv all the time, so whenever i want to watch something, dvd, avi, mpg, wmv, whatever, then I just launch VLC or winDVD/powerDVD and send the signal to my t.v and watch it in all its glory.

and if u want something totally pc-less but on ur t.v, then check out islambox.tv (http://www.islambox.tv) basically u get all ur favorite arab stations, plus the english and urdu channels, but using your broadband connection. its basically a little box u connect to ur t.v and router, and watch t.v from there...
