anyone got a programme to convert videos ?

i need to convert videos that are in .rmvb and .rm to .mpeg or .wmv

I have been googling for so long but cant find it. i only find trial versions which are useless ;coz it dont allow me to do what i want.

So if anyone knows any free programme that converts videos please let me know. or if you got a version and you got the crack code to it so you dont have to pay nothing that would be great.

BTW i have seen free programmes but they cant convert .rmvb or .rm . i need them to be converted.

try converting from rm to avi, then from avi to wmv

rm to avi = tinra
avi to wmv = windows media encoder

i know its long winded but it's all i can find for now, maybe someone else can come up with something better.

there are plenty of FREE programmes out there that can convert .wmv or .mpeg or whatever.

i need a .rmvb or .rm converter.

can you play the file in vlc player? if so, then you can transcode/convert the file to any format, including .mpg and .avi (not sure about .wmv though) while it plays.

so try that.
