Stop making Saudi Arabia out to be a perfect place. I don't think that I'm making myself look bad by telling the truth. My uncle works in Saudi Arabia and he gets 3 days off for Eid whereas his Saudi co-workers get 15 days off for Eid. Don't even try to refute this because I'm sure about this. I'm 100% certain.

Allah said next,

It is true that they beheaded Somali men for apparently stealing 2 years ago (if I remember correctly) in Saudi Arabia.

Some Saudi men DO rape their maids as well. There is a girl who lives in LOndon whose mother is Filipino and whose father is Saudi. She was the result of rape and her mother was deported from Saudi after being raped. She is 15-16 and in care at the moment. :( She is catholic as well.

You're right. Things like that tend to happen as there is companies (mostly private) aren't legally obliged to do so. So there is favoritism but that sort of thing, the racism/nationalism is completely dependent on those who are in responsible in the company/business.

It's a more of luck thing, my dad worked for 25+ yrs in Saudi Arabia, and he (and my mom) didn't experience many problems. At work, towards the end...he was greatly respected by those 'on top' and was treated extremely well simply because, well my dad was old enough to be their grandfather. There are those that are good,...then there are those that are not so good. The public, in general, aren't racists...nationalists maybe...but not racists

Did I say anything about that? Of course, certain people can easily get of the hook, aal-salool (al-Sauds right?) aren't the only people who can either. Bribery is wide spread and most of the time, the police force (for example) can be incredibly unfair. That's a fact. And I'm not going to dispute that.

But in general, the people...the ones you tend to interact with on a day-to-day basis are awesome, for the most part.

Well, sis, generally didn't wear the niqaab. However, whenever I felt uncomfortable with my surroundings (particularly after school), I'd just cover my face with the rest of my black scarf. And no, it's isn't impossible or that difficult to see through...particularly during Saudi day time.

Legally, there isn't (and never was) compulsory to wear the niqaab. However, in places where fitnah can be considered, wide spread (such as the unnecessarily glamorous malls in Riyadh's city centre) there are mutwaa's that will ask you to cover you face, whilst kicking all the single men/boys out of the mall. From what I've noticed, Jeddah is lacking these, 'heroes'. I hate, hate, hate it when those waste-of-space teens just roam around the malls to harass women. Pathetic.
