I've done all of the below
http://products.secureserver.net/email/email_outlook.htm - for hotmail
http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=13278 - for gmail
but now when I click send and receive it won't work....instead it reads 'error....'
maybe something to do with relay

I love outlook. I set mine up, but I can never set up someone else's unless I am actually there.
My new phone also got Outlook!

There should be a checkbox for something relating to security or privacy, if its checked, uncheck it. If its unchecked, check it. I remember I had a similar problem, and this fized it.

go to Options>Mail Setup>EMail Account>View or Change Existing Accounts>Select your Account>Click on Change
then on the bottom there should be a little check box. Then do what I said in post #6.
It worked when I had a password problem...might fix yours.

I dont think you can add hotmail to this. I tried and it said that you have to have the Premium Hotmail account in order to add it to Outlook.

Delete the work account from Outlook? Yea ofcourse.
