So who's got a home network with file and printer sharing enabled?

Check this out:

start>run>cmd>enter

Nbtstat -A<some ip address here>

Do you see a hash value <20>? if you did then :eek:

Net view \\<some ip address here>

Did you see a list of your shared folders here? If you did then :eek:

A hacker would just have to type in 1 more command to get access to your shared folder(s)!!!

So, you might want to think about password protecting your folders to make it a little harder for them. ;)

yeah but that's IF the hacker can get through the router's firewall.... besides, in order to gain access into the network, he'd have to have a certain mac address since mac filtering is enabled....
