I was just wondering if anyone knew of a way to burn a copy of the disk(I tried but it doesn't work) or to get around the need for a cd completely. Both my son and daughter play the game but we only have one CD between the 3 of us and I'm worried that it will get damaged. Haven't seen it in stores around here for quite awhile either.

i have no idea who civ3 is :p..but

u can use sum software to make an make a image copy of the cd, and then use daemontools to make the cd play without the cd

you will download a small rar file which will be extracted to a ONE GIGA BYTE iso image of civ3 disk (magiccccc)....and you will also have to use a utility called "virtual cd hide" to get the game running

get the no-cd patch. install it on all 3 systems, use the patch, then none of u will need the cd:
