Ahmet Alibasic is a lecturer on Islamic Civilisation at the Faculty of Islamic Studies (University of Sarajevo) and the Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences (International University of Sarajevo). He studied Arabic Language at King Sa'ud University in Arabia and graduated in Islamic Studies and Political Sciences from International Islamic University of Malaysia. He later completed his MA on Political Opposition in Islamic Political Thought in the Arab World at the International Institute for Islamic Thought and Civilisation, Kuala Lumpur. Dr Alibasic is currently serving as the Deputy-President of the Association of Muslim Scholars of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He will be speaking about prospects and challenges in Bosnia in the post conflict era. All welcome. Admission is free.
