9 June 2007 is the international day of action to mark the 40th anniverary of the Six Day War and Israel's military occupation of Palestine.

We want tens of thousands of people to join us for the primary international event of the year in support of the Palestinian people.

Only traitors to the Ummah would claim that the occupation has only been for 40 years. Why would they betray the Ummah? Because some political back stabbers who claim to represent the Palestinians only want a little titbit of what was taken over in the 6 days war when in fact the occupation of what is now known as 'Israel' began in 1948, almost SIXTY years ago!!!

The Prophet (saw) said in a hadith (sorry I'm paraphrasing) that: he who gives away even a handspan of Muslim land to the Kufar will have an equal amount of space allocated to him in Hellfire.

This is not a handspan, this is a whole nation!:rubeyes:

In all the demos ive been on in the past there's usually transport available from around the country to London.

I usually come with the STWC however after visiting their website they dont have any transport info?

Just wondering if anyone had any information regarding transport from other parts of the UK.

I Live up north in west yorkshire and its almost a 4 hour drive to London

The London demonstration has been organised by the ENOUGH! coalition of charities, trade unions, faith and other campaign groups, including Stop the War Coalition, who have come together in the cause of peace in Palestine. we should have out-numbered the non-muslims because this was in support of OUR brothers and sisters! how disgraceful that the muslims cant even be bothered to stand up for justice for the palestinian people.

i was just disappointed that azzam tamimi ddnt speak for long, he's speeches are always so powerful and emotional.

and did anyone notice how there was barely any news coverage of the demo.. but then thats not surprising really.
