you can get pesto and then just cut some vegetables and cook it with it, or some chicken breast cut into small cubes?

if your in a hurry try dolmio's and just heat on the hob and threw in the pasta. I find the taste a bit artificial though :S
I have two recipes depending on how much time I have on my hands, one is pasta sauce from scratch :)
Modified sauce:
Dolmio's basic garlic pasta sauce
two finely chopped onions
2 seeded and diced chillies
sweetcorn
chopped green and red peppers
cheese
Boil pasta and set aside
Cook the onions in minimal oil, wait till golden brown
add sauce and stir
add chillis and few spices to preference, stir again
add sweetcorn and peppers and half of the cheese
cover and cook for 3-4 min
add pasta and mix
Serve with leftover cheese :coolbro: Pasta sauce from scratch:
Chop onions and add to pan with a bit of pil
when golden brown add a tin of chopped and seeded tomatoes
add chili, garlic and a bit of ginger and stir and cook for 5 min
when tomatoes are cooked add in spices and mix
add sweetcorn, peppers and cheese for a further 5 min
add fresh basil :o
add pasta and stirserve with cheese! :) :D

type pasta sauce into their search box:)
Btw it's a site run by non Muslims so some recipes wont be halal
Well, self-made sauce is way better than those prefabricated conservated ones. And what about experimenting with something else. Pasta with just tuna, fresh basal leaves, garlic and cippolina (this picant thing which is white on the down and has the green top) is lovely. Or just add the fresh vegetables. And don t forget to make them al dente and if possible, buy the Italian pasta (Barilla is great, and not too expensive, you can try www.barilla.it for inspiration too).

Salaam fellow sisters and brothers
this is a simple and easy way to make pasta and mushroom sauce.
Ingredients:
-Pasta
-Tin of mushroom in creamy sauce (add another tin depending on amount of pasta)
-tin of anchovies
-salt to taste
-black pepper to taste
-1 small onion cut into half moon
-a teaspoon of olive oil (or any oil you want to use)
Method
First open the tin of anchovies and but in a bowl with cold water to take out excess salt and leave untill ready to use then, boil the pasta in a pan of water with a pinch of salt and a drop of oil. Once boiled drain in a sieve and leave to one side.
Heat a pan with some oil and fry onions, as soon as you put onions in but a few pinches of salt on top of the onions because you don't want them to go brown you just want to soften them, once the onions are soft then drain the anchovies and put into the onions and mix untill disolved then add the tin of mushroom in creamy sauce and mix thoroughly. When mixed add the pasta and mix together making sure the pasta is thoroughly coated with the sauce. Serve hot with garlic bread, or salad with avacados
Lovely healthy dish.:)
spaghetti tastes better
just slice some onions when they golden brown then bang some cubed chicken in when nearly cooked, toss in the sweetcorn n few peppers, hen when cooked let the water loose out of there..evaporate it over heat, then toss in the dolmio mixed pepper sauce and i use the the italian sainsubrys carton, and sorted. put some green chilli in. n ure done. dont wanna make it into a curry so dont bother with diff sauces. whilste ure cookin all this, put some spaghetti on the side to boil. will be done in 10 minutes..soon as the sauce is done..drain the spaghetti mixx it up, and serve with cheese. n black pepper.
cook whatever you want, add pasta instead of rice... you got pasta dish!
