Wake up Oh Ummah!
Wake up O Ummah; wake up from your slumber
Wake up to the pain, the pain of Fallujah
How can you sleep, so peaceful, so snug and warm?
With an oppression so brutal, from dusk to dawn
Wake up O Ummah, wake up to the cries
O Those deafening cries, from those tearful fearful eyes
Don’t close your ears, just sit back and listen
As the slaughter continues and the plight worsens
Wake up O Ummah, as the sound of Adhan is no more
From the Mosques desecrated, which were once so pure
Count your blessings and mercies, you are so fortunate
But think about Fallujah, bruised, battered and devastated
Wake up O Ummah, to the oppression of today’s Fir’ own
So arrogant he is, he thinks all in the world, is for him alone
From the Tigris to Euphrates, reeking with hypocrisy
As Fallujah burns, he continues regardless, with pride & impunity
Wake up O Ummah, stand up and awake from your dreams
Fallujah nightmare is a reality, do you know what this really means
Wake up O Ummah, get up and pray for your brothers
What would you do, if it was your sisters & mothers?
Wake up O Ummah, cry out and beseech Thy Lord
Bow your heads to Allah, the One and Only God
Wake up O Ummah, feel and share in the pain
Of the people of Fallujah, who fight for Allah, and not any worldly gain
